Day of Relationships Message from Sri AmmaBhagavan

“ The growing inability to live as a family, to feel for each other and to connect to each other is a world-wide crisis. It is a relationship crisis. The crisis of our present day civilization is not so much biological as it is psychological. Our sense of separation having become too strong, life has become a battle for significance and a struggle for identity. The struggle to be a ‘somebody’, even at the expense of others and at the cost of hurting others is a very unhealthy sign. People destroy themselves emotionally, spiritually and physically. It is disease and is most reflected in families today. Unless family is held intact, individuals would go to pieces. They would miss a mother’s care, a father’s attention and a partner’s love. Loneliness and loss of identity would eat into them. To escape from loneliness and the fear of being a nobody, people would pursue destructive paths. This would ultimately lead to the break-up of the individual and the fragmentation of society and civilization itself. Though the world is heading in this direction; all is not lost. There is an immense possibility for humanity to awaken into a new state of consciousness. There is a beautiful window opening up for humanity to make a giant leap in consciousness; that is-Awakening. When you are awakened you automatically start experiencing everything around you including your relationships. You feel a greater sense of connection to all people and all things. Emotional hurts are hard to sustain because awareness keeps. Consciousness empty; ready for a fresh experience. Life this way is so ordinary that is extraordinary. You would begin to realize, this is how you always had been.”-....... Sri AmmaBhagavan

Sri Bhagavan's Birthday Message 2010 (TRANSCRIPT)

Every March 7 the power is stepped up, and this March 7th particularly because we are getting close to 2012; that is tomorrow it will be enormously stepped up. You will be able to see very dramatically in the way that miracles will start to happen, and the way that people's problems are solved and there is a change in perception. You will see it is very dramatic. However from March 18th it will be even more powerful; after about 11 days it will be very very powerful; if you are sensitive you will be able to perceive it. Now how to make use of this enhanced power; now I've often said life is relationship, so now if you would, let's say you have a family, if you could accept your wife or your husband as the case might be, completely and totally without judging, without trying to transform the other, without trying to understand the other, using psychology and all this kind of stuff; just accepting the person as he or she is. If you would start it today or tomorrow, and continue for about a month or so, now and then you might slip, but then you will become aware of it and go back and tell yourself, 'oh my God, I have judged', and try to understand what is happening. And then you continue like that, and suppose you are not married, it could be with your parents, and if your parents are also not there, it could be with a friend whom sometimes you resist, sometimes you like him/her to be different, something like that. Not someone who is younger to you; ok between husband and wife or brother and sister, but not with the small children. So if you start practicing this, because of the enormously stepped up grace you'll find excellent results within a month's time and quite a story to see what changes have occured in you. You might even go so close as to awakening itself. So that is the message for this year, March 7, 2010; so now we move into a 5 minute meditation now and you could start now with self. You could take a Salnkalpa, that is a strong intent, that you will not judge your wife/husband, mother or father or brother or sister or close friend, as the case might be. And we meet the next time, we must be in a position to report back to me very good results. So now we shall meditate for the next 5 minutes.

The Message from Sri Amma on "The DAY of LOVE"

Love has many faces. It manifests at different times in different ways. In your relation with your child, Love manifests as affection. Allow yourself to be affected by your child's fears, complex insecurities and frustrations. Reach out with understanding.

In spousal relationship, love is passion and respect; being a friend and staying together through rough weather.

Love is providing and giving for the family. Love becomes sensitivity and awareness of another's needs. At work, love manifests as commitment and passion for excellence.

For a friend, love means right counsel in rough times and playfulness during easy times.

For the Nation, love is to create wealth through integrity.
In life, love comes through as courage and acceptance. Tear down the walls of fear and allow every experience to flow over you; just as the waters do over the sands.

Life is complete only when you nurture love in all its forms. All who complain against you are
heaven's reminders asking you to scale greater heights of love.
